About
Rob Schmidt
Hi! I would like to introduce myself and tell you more about who I am and the small business I have created and wish to build upon.
I recently retired in 2021 after 27 years with the USDA Forest Service, where I served as a Wildland Firefighter. In my early days with the agency, I started as a ground-level firefighter and eventually worked my way into the aviation side of firefighting. I spent 20-plus years on a helicopter (Helitack) firefighting crew here in Arizona and have traveled extensively all over the country in support of fire operations. I have been responsible for supervising and managing helicopter programs, personnel, and contracts and have always considered myself to be organized and reliable.
My home inspection training includes certification in both the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNachi) and Inspection Certification Associates (ICA) online programs. To Learn more about more about my InterNachi qualifications please click here. I have completed the requirements for the State of Arizona and received my State of Arizona Home Inspector license (license # 76579). I believe the combination of Home Inspector and Home Caretaking will be a good fit for the business we have created and will serve our clients well.
My family and I are living here on the east side of Tucson and look forward to long future ahead here in beautiful Tucson!
I value hard work and dedication to the job. My previous experience in firefighting taught me much about service, teamwork, respect, and trust. I strive to bring you those same qualities to the service I can provide for you and your home inspection/caretaking needs. If you are like me, I know how important your home is to you. While you are away from it for long periods of time you want the peace of mind knowing it is being cared for by someone who you can trust and count on. We would love to talk to you more and meet for a free initial consultation to further discuss the services we can provide for you.
